About Dr Mok

Dentistry let Dr Mok bring together two things that matter: a love of art and an interest in caring for people. Relieving pain and seeing a patient leave with a smile is still the best part of the day. Dr Mok’s special interest is orthodontics, where how teeth work and how they look come together.

A dental visit can feel daunting, often because of a bad experience in childhood. So Dr Mok explains each step clearly and works at a pace that suits you, with no pressure. The aim is simple: that you feel relaxed in the chair and happy to come back for your check-ups.

Dr Mok keeps up with evidence-based dentistry, has a growing interest in biomimetic dentistry (repairing teeth while keeping as much of the natural tooth as possible), and is developing further skills in orthodontics. Over the next five years, the goal is to offer early orthodontic treatment for children and young teenagers, to catch developing bite problems early.

Outside the clinic: the gym and CrossFit, time with family, and a yearly overseas trip with Dr Mok’s parents while they are fit to enjoy it. Two fun facts: drew comics from age 12 to 22, and briefly ran an online shop selling handmade resin earrings while waiting for a government dental posting.
