What affects the cost of dentures in Melaka?
Dentures range from a simple acrylic plate to a suction denture made in a digital laboratory. Here is what moves the price.
The cost of a denture at Ooi Dental depends on whether it is partial or full, the material, whether it is conventional or 3D-printed, and whether it is a suction denture. Repairs and relining are priced separately and are usually done the same day. Fees are not published; you are told before treatment starts.
Partial or full
A partial denture replaces some teeth and clips to the ones you have. A full denture replaces all the teeth in the jaw. A full denture is a larger piece of work and is priced accordingly.
The material
Ooi Dental makes Milled Acrylic, Thermoplastic and Cobalt-Chrome partial dentures. Acrylic is the traditional material. Thermoplastic is flexible and has no visible metal clasps. Cobalt-chrome is thinner and stronger. The choice is about your mouth and your priorities, not only price.
Conventional or 3D-printed
A 3D-printed denture is designed from a scan and printed in our own laboratory, which is why it can be made in a day. The design stays on file afterwards, so it does not have to be built from scratch a second time.
Suction dentures
A suction denture takes more design and fitting work than an ordinary full denture, because the seal has to be captured precisely. That is reflected in the cost. What a suction denture is.
Repairs, relining and added teeth
These are separate, smaller items and are usually done the same day. A denture that has broken repeatedly may be more economical to replace than to keep repairing; we will tell you which.

Usually. Because the laboratory is inside the clinic, a repair, an added tooth or a reline is in most cases done the same day: come in the morning and it is ready the same afternoon.
Fees are not published, but a repair is a small item compared with a new denture, and you will be told the figure before we start.
